As adoption grows nationally and provincially, with organizations like B.C. Housing embedding BIM processes into capital projects, it’s clear BIM is about far more than 3D models. It represents a structured, data-driven approach to delivering work and a new, more efficient way of running your business.
MCABC is proud to launch the first course in our a proprietary, 4-part BIM training series developed specifically for mechanical contractors and exclusive to MCABC members. This Foundations course establishes essential knowledge and understanding of BIM principles, processes, and applications within the mechanical contracting industry.
This in-person session is a pre-requisite for all other courses offered in the series.
Who Should Attend?
Everyone. All industry professionals stand to benefit from gaining a baseline understanding of BIM, regardless of sector, role, seniority, company size, project size, etc. There is no pre-requisite knowledge required for this course.

Instructor
George Hemsley, BIM/VDC Manager
George is an expert in VDC/BIM Management and Implementation with 18 years experience in the construction industry. He has successfully delivered numerous BIM projects as part of design teams across the globe. With a background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services, he is well-versed in the challenges and constraints of coordinated design. Additionally, George has experience working in an Architectural studio, providing a holistic approach to design coordination.
Cancellation Policy
Written notice of cancellation must be received a minimum of ten (10) days prior to event start date to be eligible for a refund. Paid registrations are transferable to another member of your organization by emailing lbutler@mcabc.org prior to event start date.
