MCABC proudly presents the exclusive Gold Seal Accredited Project Management Program.

Project Management skills are key to the success of your business and will improve your bottom line. This program is designed to equip you with the tools to master it! Upon completion, you can earn 70 Professional Development Units (PMP Certification) & 15 Gold Seal Credits.

The program takes place over a 10-day period and is divided into two separate 5-day sessions:

Week 1: March 11-15, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Week 2: April 15-19, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What's unique about this course is that over the 10-day period, you will be introduced to 9 different instructors — each of them experts in their field of knowledge.

Who should attend?

The Mechanical Contracting Project Management program is appropriate for individuals who are:

  • Working for mechanical contractors or other types of contractors, such as project managers, project administrators, project controls personnel, site superintendents, estimators, business managers, shop managers, and supervisors
  • Managing or coordinating construction contractors

This Gold Seal accredited course is designed to:

  • Improve the planning and controlling of your projects, thereby improving your company’s bottom line
  • Take a business view of projects and take ownership of a project from bid to final payment
  • Increase your own project “lessons learned” by learning from experiences of other participants
  • Be able and willing to contribute improvements to your company’s project management process
  • Be better prepared to take the Gold Seal examination if you choose

This course has been approved by the Canadian Construction Association for credits for Gold Seal Project Manager accreditation, as well as registered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

Are you an employer?

The B.C. Employer Training Grant provides funding to small, medium and large enterprises to support skills training for their workforces, including prospective new hires.

Employers can apply as often as they need and receive 80 per cent of the cost of training up to $10,000 per employee, with a maximum annual amount per employer of $300,000.
