Providing employees with feedback and having difficult conversations are often what supervisors put off or avoid altogether. Did you know that employees need to hear what both they’re doing well AND where they can improve in order to do their jobs more effectively? On October 13th HR expert, Sandra Reder, is going to walk members through this process. New content has been added to this workshop so that it builds on the HR Series we organized in the spring.

Who should attend:

  • Site supervisors
  • Project managers
  • Foremen
  • Office managers
  • HR staff

Topics include:

  • Suggestions/tips on how to deliver a review to employees on job sites;
  • Review of the performance management tools in the HR toolkit and how to customize them;
  • Ongoing performance management;
  • How to have difficult conversations.

Price:
$250 plus tax for members
$1,250 plus tax for nonmembers (sign up for membership within one month of the session to be eligible for a $1,000 reimbursement on the cost of membership!)

EFT Payment is also accepted. Please contact us directly at info@mcabc.org to make a booking and we will issue you an invoice and EFT details.

About the speaker:

Sandra Reder, CPD. Founder & President, Vertical Bridge

For over 20 years, Sandra has been a driving force within the human resource community. She has worked within a wide range of industries including healthcare, private sector, not for profit and public sector. Over the years she has been privy to information that few employers ever hear directly from their employees. She became aware that many employers do not realize how they are perceived by their employees. That awareness produced Sandra's strong interest in assisting employers to ensure that they are creating engaging and respectful workplaces.

In 2005 Sandra founded Vertical Bridge, a full service HR and recruitment consulting practice. In late 2014 Sandra identified a need for human resources support within the healthcare sector and founded HealthBridge HR. Sandra is a well regarded facilitator and speaker on a variety of subjects, including HR Best Practices and Inter Generational Communication within the Workplace. She is actively involved with the Human Resources Management Association, and is the past chapter president of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services.
