If you're an employer, you may need to take steps to ensure they meet the new requirements, which will result in changes for many workplaces.

          Healthy Workplace Month — The Proven Positives of Positivity

          October is Healthy Workplace Month in Canada. A healthy workplace, boosts morale, enhances productivity, and fosters a positive culture.

          From October 21-25, this week's theme focuses on "The Proven Positives of Positivity". Here are a few healthy activity ideas you can implement as a team to focus on the positives:

          1. Share personal wellness goals. As a team, you can share your personal goals to encourage and support your fellow colleagues.

          2. Mental Health First Aid. Ensure colleagues and managers are equipped to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health issues in the workplace. Check out the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) for resources on mental health first aid training.

          3. Conduct a Workplace Safety Audit. Prioritizing occupational health and safety is key in ensuring a healthy workplace. Check out WorkSafeBC for resources on maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
