BC Legislature is Back

In Victoria this week, the BC Legislature was back in session to deliver the Throne Speech and Budget 2024. MCABC is closely tracking these provincial announcements and working to advance policies on behalf of the mechanical contracting industry.

Budget 2024 introduces significant changes to various sectors, including the Employer Health Tax by increasing the exemption amount, the implementation of the new Electricity Affordability Credit, funding towards the Province’s StrongerBC: Future Ready Action Plan and the BC Builds Program.
