AUGUST 2020

Alpha Mechanical and National Hydronics throw their support behind Nicky Roberts and Ron Jassmann to support the end of gender-based violence.

You may have heard of speed dating but speed golf? A Five-Hour Golf Game in 90 Minutes? The MCABC Golf Classic Game on September 10th is not only gearing up to be an extraordinary day on the course, it’s going to be a day that creates awareness of the important work of the Ending Violence Association of BC. EVA BC supports more than 300 community-based services and initiatives that are extended to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, child abuse and criminal harassment.

MCABC members Nicky Roberts and Ron Jassmann are going to test their endurance in an effort to raise more than $5,000 for EVA BC. Early morning, before the first tee-off, Nicky and Ron will speed through 18 holes on foot, carrying their golf bags, with a goal to shoot 90 under 90 minutes. Their motivation will come from those supporting their cause. Pledges have started but now is the time to get serious. Nicky and Ron are focused, they are training and they are preparing to give it their all for EVA BC.
