The meetings were a pivotal opportunity for industry leaders to engage with policy makers and advocate for the interests of the mechanical contracting industry.

The deadline to apply for the MCABC 2024/2025 Board of Directors is TODAY – May 8th, 2024 @ 5pm.

MCABC CEO Kim Barbero joined the MCA Canada Board of Directors and managers for the MCAC Day on the Hill at the Ottawa Parliament on May 7th. The meetings were a pivotal opportunity for industry leaders to engage with policymakers and advocate for the interests of the mechanical contracting industry. All aspects of the Canadian economy are impacted by the systems built and serviced by mechanical contractors and Canada needs a plan to support mechanical contracting firms so that our country can reach its full growth potential.

As part of Day on the Hill, MCAC Chief Operating Officer Ken Lancastle released an Op-Ed, Canada’s prosperity depends on a strong mechanical contracting sector. He states, “Canada needs a plan to support mechanical contracting firms and their workers so that our country can reach its full growth potential.
