A special shoutout

A very special thank you to Rob Marchiori of Ram Mechanical who served on the MCABC Board of Directors since 2018. Rob has been a steadfast Association volunteer and Board Director who has gifted us his time and experience. Rob has helped us focus on the regulatory environment, prompt payment and the importance of MCABC membership.

Rare recognition suited for an industry legend

MCABC’s Lifetime Achievement Award is a level of recognition that is difficult to define, yet illuminates an individual’s extraordinary dedication to our Association and betterment of the mechanical contracting industry as a whole. A Lifetime Achievement Award recipient has given endless volunteer hours, advocated locally, provincially and nationally and demonstrated support for an industry that “you want to leave better than when you found it.” And that’s exactly what Past Chair Wayne Davidson was recognized for during presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award at the MCABC Conference Gala on June 20th in Kelowna.

Wayne’s work on behalf of the industry extends at least 20 years, including several years as a Director and President of MCAC. Wayne is an adopter of change; a Director who MCABC has relied on to bridge the transition from the past to the present and to help us plan for the future.

The video production and standing ovation to honour Wayne were a tribute to a legend whose experience and perspective we will continue to rely on as we leverage the transformative traction of the past several years.

Thank you, Wayne, for all you’ve done on behalf of the industry.
