Technical Safety BC: New Fee Structure for 2024

A new fee schedule will be implemented effective January 1, 2024. The new fee changes will cover costs related to safety oversight, educational programs; public safety campaigns, assessing equipment and systems, as well as program improvement.

New pension plan option will allow for variable benefit plans

Legislation aligned with federal changes will soon allow the opportunity for private sector employees to safeguard their financial futures with variable life benefit plans.

Housing targets released for ten municipalities to deliver more homes

Targets for the first ten municipalities identified as part of the Housing Supply Act have been released in an effort to expedite the construction of tens of thousands of additional homes in areas with the greatest needs.
