Introducing the 2021-2022 MCABC Board of Directors

At the AGM on May 27 the following members were elected to the MCABC Board of Directors: 

  • Meghan Murphy, ESC Automation Inc 
  • Sean Hamilton, First District Mechanical Group Ltd
  • Paul Demeule, Trotter and Morton Building Technologies and Miles Murray, Equipco Ltd were re-elected to the Board.
Under the Chairmanship of Trevor Hildebrand, the elected nominees will join their industry peers in leading the change for mechanical contractors of BC.
Immediately following the AGM, the following were elected officers for 2021:
  • Trevor Hildebrand, Phase Mechanical
  • Wayne Davidson, Davidson Bros 
  • Paul Demeule, Trotter and Morton Building Technologies 
  • Kyle Wisniewski, Black & McDonald   

Four Mechanical Trades Identified for Skilled Trades Certification

On June 11, 2021 four mechanical trades (gasfitter Class A and B, steamfitter/pipefitter, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic and sheet metal worker) were identified as part of the ten initial trades designated for skilled trades certification.
