Are you being Bypassed? The Risks of Owner and GC sourced equipment

There has been an increase in recent years of owners and general contractors or construction managers self-sourcing some equipment, supplies or materials for construction projects.

While the specifics vary somewhat from trade to trade, the issues, concerns and risks for trade contractors are fairly consistent and significant regardless of your area of specialty.

ECABC, MCABC and RCABC have partnered with Dr. Awad Hanna, one of North America’s premier educators in construction, to lead a virtual seminar of the risks of direct sourced materials for trade and subcontractors, and to share some mitigation techniques you can implement to reduce your exposure on these projects
