MCABC Board Officer Wayne Davidson Chairs MCAC

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada may be in Ottawa but its Board of Directors is being led by one of our own from BC.

Congratulations to Wayne Davidson MCABC Past President & Secretary-Treasurer, who was named President and Chair of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada on December 8, 2021.

“I am extremely proud to be stepping into the role of MCA Canada president and chair as we look ahead to 2022,” said Davidson. For a national association representing close to 1,000 members across the country, this marks a great opportunity to begin reconnecting with our members as we transition to more in-person events. I see tremendous opportunity for MCA Canada to engage with our members in a meaningful way over the coming year, and I am excited about what we can accomplish," says Davidson.

Wayne, President of Davidson Bros Ltd., brings years of industry and association experience to the national position.

Also representing BC on the national board are MCABC Chair Trevor Hildebrand of Phase Mechanical Systems Ltd. and MCABC Vice Chair, Paul Demeule of Trotter & Morton Group of Companies.

      Member Survey Results Are In

Measuring member satisfaction is key to our quality assurance process.Considering that we are two thirds of the way through a transformation, we were pleased to have the survey company report that we received a very good general satisfaction score.

We learned that our six strategic pillars identified by the board are highly valued by our members. Words such as "informative", "ally", "community" and "professional" were used to describe MCABC. There were fantastic gems within the feedback and members of the board will be meeting to determine a course of action as we are always striving to do better.

We thank everyone who took their time to complete the survey. As a token of our appreciation, you will be entered into a draw by Framework in which 1 in 5 respondents will win a $10 coffee card, and everyone was entered into a draw for a $250 Amazon gift card.

MCABC Member Survey - Quality Assurance process that will strengthen our association. We thank everyone for participating.
