Competition Bureau publishes wage-fixing and no-poaching enforcement guidelines

Effective June 23, 2023, wage-fixing and no-poaching agreements are illegal. The Competition Bureau’s updated guidelines provide businesses transparency and clarity on the Bureau’s enforcement approach to the new criminal provisions that came into force last month. MCABC Advocates for Plumbing Certification in Skilled Trades BC's Second Round of Submissions

On June 30^th, MCABC responded to Skilled Trades BC’s call for submissions for the second round of Skilled Trades Certified (STC) trades.  Plumbing topped MCABC’s list of mechanical contracting trades to be certified. Thank you to industry stakeholders who supported our submission.
